Detailed Itinerary

Our Marrakesh 4 Days Tour start from Marrakesh at 8 am to travel over the stunning High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt 2260 m). We will stop to enjoy impressive landscapes and visit the Argan oil cooperative. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will have the afternoon to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou. We will depart to Ouarzazate for dinner and accommodation in a traditional hotel.

Day 2: Dades – Todra Gorges – Jorf – Er rissani – Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Desert)

Following a delightful breakfast, our expedition takes us from the captivating Dades Gorges to the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Along the route, we encounter scattered Berber villages, passing through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where the essence of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet begins to unfold before us. Our journey continues to Merzouga, where a brief moment of relaxation awaits before we embark on a camel ride into the dunes. As we traverse the sandy landscape, our camels lead us on an adventure through the desert, culminating in an overnight stay at a camp nestled amidst the vast Sahara. The evening offers a magical opportunity to capture stunning images of both sunset and sunrise, with the camp alive with rhythmic drum music under the starlit sky. Upon arrival at the camp, we ascend to high dunes to witness the breathtaking sunset before retiring for the night in traditional Nomad Berber tents, immersing ourselves in the tranquility and beauty of the desert surroundings.

Day 3: Merzouga – Berber Nomad Families – Black Desert – Desert Mountains – Merzouga
Our journey will take us to the quaint towns nestled around the Erg Chebbi dunes, including Hassi Labied, Khamlia, and M’fis, where we will have the opportunity to witness the local inhabitants showcasing their desert foxes. In Khamlia, known for its Sudanese slave heritage, visitors are greeted with traditional Berber tea and soulful Gnawa singing, offering a glimpse into the town's unique culture. Continuing our exploration, we will marvel at the panoramic views of the golden dunes near the Algerian border, perhaps pausing for a picnic lunch amidst this breathtaking scenery. A visit to a Nomad family living in traditional Berber tents follows, where you can interact with the family members and gain insights into their pastoral lifestyle while enjoying a cup of tea. The journey continues with an exploration of black volcanic rock formations before a potential visit to Yasmina lac, where the convergence of dunes and lake creates a mesmerizing sight, particularly during springtime. Finally, our day concludes with a stay at a dunes hotel in Merzouga, offering a comfortable retreat after a day filled with cultural immersion and natural wonders.
Day 4 : Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Azrou – Ifrane – Fez
